Privacy policy
How My Swiss Clean collects, uses and protects your personal data.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your data is My Swiss Clean, represented by Malik Temmar, Chemin de Beausejour 2, 1450 Sainte-Croix, Switzerland.
For any question about your data: contact@myswissclean.ch or +41 77 947 18 48.
This policy applies to our website (myswissclean.ch and myswissclean.com), to the messages you send us (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, email, phone), to the forms in our Facebook and Instagram ads and to our home services.
2. Data we collect and how we use it
We only collect what we need to handle your request and carry out the cleaning.
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| First name, last name, email, phone, city, private or business customer | website form or form in our Facebook and Instagram ads, first message | to reply to you and prepare your quote |
| Textiles to clean, message, photos | forms, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram | to assess the job and price the quote |
| Consent to be contacted on WhatsApp | form checkbox | to write to you on WhatsApp about your request |
| Address, date and time, services chosen | when you book | to organise the visit and send you the summary and reminders |
| Amount, invoice, payment method (cash, TWINT or bank transfer) | after the visit | to invoice and track payment |
| Consent to the yearly reminder | only if you accept it | to offer you a new cleaning one year later |
| IP address, browser, pages visited | when you visit the website | website security, spam protection and, if you accept, measuring our ads |
After the visit, we also send you a message asking for a Google review; replying is entirely up to you.
We process this data to handle your request and perform our contract, to meet our legal obligations (accounting) and, for the yearly reminder and ad measurement, with your consent. We never sell your data.
3. WhatsApp, e-mails and AI assistant
We only write to you on WhatsApp if you have written to us, or if you ticked the consent box on the form. Our messages are about your request: quote, appointment, reminders, payment, review. You can ask us at any time, by message or email, to stop writing to you on WhatsApp.
Our WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram conversations are gathered in our customer management software (GoHighLevel), which only our team can access.
We may use an artificial intelligence assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) to read your photos, ask you a few questions and prepare a draft quote. This assistant always introduces itself as an AI. Prices come from our price list, and every quote is checked by a member of our team before it is sent to you: no decision is made by the machine alone.
Tips and offers by e-mail. If you are a customer, or if you have agreed to it, we may send you care tips, a cleaning reminder and our offers by e-mail, at most two e-mails a month. Every e-mail includes a link to unsubscribe in one click.
4. Service providers and transfers abroad
These providers process your data on our behalf and according to our instructions; some are located outside Switzerland.
| Provider | Role | Country |
|---|---|---|
| HighLevel (GoHighLevel) | customer management: records, messages, e-mails, calendar, reminders | United States |
| Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) | messaging, Facebook and Instagram ads and their contact forms | Ireland, United States |
| job calendar, Google Business Profile and reviews, Google Ads measurement | Ireland, United States | |
| Anthropic (Claude) | AI assistant to prepare quotes | United States |
| Webflow | website hosting and form submissions | United States |
| Cloudflare (Turnstile) | spam protection for the form | United States |
| Wistia | playing the videos on the website | United States |
| Taap.it | tracking clicks on our links | France |
| Facture.net | quotes and invoices | France |
For the United States, transfers rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the Swiss Federal Council since 15 September 2024, where the provider is certified, and otherwise on standard contractual clauses. Ireland and France are in the European Union, whose level of data protection Switzerland recognises.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your data only as long as needed, then delete it:
| Data | Period |
|---|---|
| Request that did not go ahead | 2 years after the last exchange |
| Customer record, messages and photos | 3 years after the last visit |
| Invoices and accounting records | 10 years, as required by the Swiss Code of Obligations (art. 958f) |
| Consent to the yearly reminder | until you withdraw it |
| Technical website data | period set by each provider |
6. Cookies and website tools
Our website uses cookies and similar tools of three kinds:
- Necessary: running the website, protecting the form against spam (Cloudflare Turnstile) and remembering your cookie choice. They are always on.
- Measurement and advertising, only with your consent: the Google Ads tag, which counts requests coming from our ads, and Taap.it, which counts clicks on our links. Without your consent, Taap.it is not loaded and the Google Ads tag sets no cookies: it only sends Google technical signals with no advertising identifier (Google consent mode).
- Comfort: the Wistia video player, which only sets its cookies with your consent.
On your first visit, a banner asks you to accept or refuse these cookies. Your choice is kept for 12 months in your browser. You can change your mind at any time with the button below or the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of each page, and delete cookies in your browser settings.
For any question, email us at contact@myswissclean.ch.
7. Your rights, security and changes
You can at any time:
- find out what data we hold about you and get a copy;
- have it corrected or deleted, except data the law requires us to keep (invoices);
- object to our follow-up messages and withdraw your consent to the yearly reminder.
Email us at contact@myswissclean.ch: we reply within 30 days. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the European Union, the authority in your country.
Only the members of our team who need it can access your data, each with their own account. We may update this policy; the date of the latest version is shown at the bottom of the page.
